Sportcraft Recalls 3,100 Classic Sport Super Bounce Pogo Sticks Over Potential Risk Of Fall & Laceration Due To Possible Breaking Of Aluminum Rivets On Pogo Stick’s Frame Tubes.

A pogo stick recall has been issued by Sportcraft, Ltd. (“Sportcraft”) recalling 3,100 silver and blue Classic Sport Super Bounce Pogo Sticks (with a Sportcraft identification number 4112777F19414-02/10 printed on a tracking label on the base of the foot pedals) sold at The Sports Authority stores nationwide from April 2010 through October 2010 for about $40, reportedly because the recalled aluminum rivets on the Classic Sport Super Bounce Pogo Stick’s frame tubes can break and cause the support clamp to detach and release the spring, posing fall and laceration hazards to consumers, according to a U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) Sportcraft Classic Sport Super Bounce Pogo Stick recall news report.
