Pottery Barn Clay Task Lamp, Montgomery Task Lamp & Montgomery Floor Lamp Recall Issued By Pottery Barn Over Risk Of Electric Shock

Pottery Barn Recalls 7,300 Pottery Barn Clay Task Lamps, Pottery Barn Montgomery Task Lamps and Pottery Barn Montgomery Floor Lamps Over Potential Risk Of Electric Shock.

A lamp recall has been issued by Pottery Barn (“Pottery Barn”) recalling 7,300 bronze-colored Pottery Barn Clay Task Lamps (Model #2467553), Pottery Barn Montgomery Task Lamps (Model #9691783) and Pottery Barn Montgomery Floor Lamps (Model #9691775) sold at Pottery Barn stores nationwide, in Pottery Barn’s catalog and on Pottery Barn’s website www.potterybarn.com from July 2009 through August 2010 for between $60 and $300 reportedly because an electrical wire that runs through the Pottery Barn lamps can be pinched or severed at the lamp’s adjustable joint, posing a risk of electric shock to consumers, according to a U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) lamp recall news report.
