Salsa Cycles & Quality Bicycle Products Recalls Salsa Handlebar Stems Over Potential Risk of Falling.
A bicycle handlebar recall has been issued by Salsa Cycles & Quality Bicycle Products (“Salsa Cycles” or “Quality Bicycles”) recalling 6,500 Salsa Handlebar Stems sold at bicycle retailers and websites from April 2010 through October 2010 for about $65 reportedly because the recalled handlebar stems can crack or break, posing a fall hazard to the rider, according to a U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) handlebar stem recall news report.
