A Sports & Recreational Consumer Product Recall Alert Has Been Issued: Meijer Stores Recalls Bicycles Due to Fall Hazard. The recalled sports or recreational product reportedly has the following potential safety hazard:

Pedals on the youth and adult bikes can loosen or detach during use. Seven brands of bikes sold in 2012 are included: Huffy, Iron Horse, Mongoose, Northwoods, Pacific, Razor and Schwinn.
