Chrsyler Recalls More Than 26,000 Model Year 2010 and 2011 Chrysler 300s, Chrysler Sebrings, Dodge Avengers, Dodge Challengers, Dodge Journeys and Dodge Rams Over Power Steering Hose Pressure Assembly.
A recall has been issued by Chrysler Group LLC (“Chrysler”) recalling 26,397 model year 2010 Chrysler 300s, 2010 Chrysler Sebrings, 2010 Dodge Avengers, 2010 Dodge Challenger LCs, 2010 Dodge Journey JCs & 2011 Dodge Ram Light Duty Pickup DS vehicles because the crimped end of the power steering pressure hose assembly may become separated, leaking power steering fluid onto hot engine components and could potentially cause a fire, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (“NHTSA”) automobile, car and motor vehicle recall news report.
Under the Chrysler & Dodge Steering Hose Pressure Assembly safety recall, dealers will reportedly inspect and replace power steering pressure hoses free of charge
