Arizona Cantaloupe Recall Issued By Del Monte Fresh Produce Over Potential Salmonella Contamination

Del Monte Fresh Produce Recalls Certain Cantaloupes Grown and Shipped From Arizona To Detroit Michigan Over Alleged Risk Of Salmonella Contamination.

A food recall has been issued by Del Monte Fresh Produce N.A., Inc. (“Del Monte Fresh Produce” or “Del Monte”) recalling certain cantaloupes grown and shipped from Arizona to Detriot Michigan (with lot codes W-11-147-43-size 15 or W-11-14-19 size 15) allegedly because  the recalled cantaloupes may be contaminated with Salmonella which could lead to various symptoms and illnesses such as fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting,  abdominal pain, and potentially can be fatal if untreated, according to a Food & Drug Administration FDA food recall news report.
