BMW of North American Recalls Certain Model Year 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 BMW F 650 Motorcycles Over Front Disc Brake Fasteners That Could Potentially Become Loose.
A recall has been issued by BMW of North America, LLC (“BMW) recalling approximately 1835 BMW F 650 GS motorcycles model years 2007 through 2010 reportedly because a washer may interfere with the BMW F 650 GS’s front disc brake fasteners’ torque potentially causing the fastener and brake disc to become loose which may interfere with proper braking and could lead to a crash, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (“NHTSA”) motor vehicle recall news report.
