A Drug & Medical Device Recall And/Or Safety Alert Has Been Issued: Triad Alcohol Prep Pads, Alcohol Swabs, and Alcohol Swabsticks: Recall Due to Potential Microbial Contamination. According to the Food & Drug Administration FDA’s MedWatch:

UPDATE 06/08/2011. Churchill Medical Systems/Vygon recalled Skin-Prep Wipes used in Convenience Kits. Use of contaminated alcohol prep pads, alcohol swabs or alcohol swabsticks could lead to life-threatening infections.
