California Firm Recalls British Style Banger Sausages Due To Misbranding and an Undeclared Allergen

A Food Safety Recall Alert Has Been Issued:

Silva Sausage Co., a Gilroy, Calif. establishment, is recalling approximately 1,010 pounds of British style banger sausages because of misbranding and an undeclared allergen, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. The products contain wheat, a known allergen, which is not noted on the label.
