Munchkin Bathtub Subs Bathtub Toy Recall Issued By Munchkin Over Laceration Risk

Munchkin Recalls 34,000 Bathtub Subs Bathtub Submarine Toys Over Intake Valve That Can Allegedly Suck Up Loose Skin And Cause Lacerations.

A recall has been issued by Munchkin Inc. (“Munchkin”) recalling 34,000 Bathtub Subs battery-operated yellow bathtub toys sold at mass merchandise retail stores nationwide and children’s stores nationwide from November 2009 through September 2010 for about $7, allegedly because the  intake valve on the bottom of the recalled Bathtub Subs submarine toy can suck up loose skin, posing laceration hazard to children, according to a U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) children’s toy recall news report.
