Evenflo Recalls More Than 13,000 Evenflo Maestro Child Safety Seat & Restraint Systems Over Risk of Cracking During A Crash.
A recall has been issued by Evenflo Company, Inc. (“Evenflo”) recalling 13792 child safety seats and restraint systems with model numbers that start with “310” that were manufactured from November 24, 2009 through April 9, 2010 since in the event of a crash a crack may form at the front of the seat adjacent to the harness adjuster causing the child not to be properly restrained and increasing the risk of injury, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (“NHTSA”) child safety seat recall news report.
