Ryobi RTS20 Portable Table Saw Recall Issued By Ryobi Over Potential Laceration Hazard

Ryobi Recalls 21,500 Ryobi RTS20 Portable Table-Saws Over Potential Risk of Laceration.

A table saw recall has been issued by Ryobi Power Tools (“Ryobi Power Tools” or “Ryobi”) recalling 21,500 Ryobi RTS20 portable ten-inch table-saws (with blue base) sold at Home Depot retail outlets nationwide and Canada from July 2010 through October 2010 for about $200, reportedly because the recalled Ryobi saw blade on the motor carriage could be misaligned, posing a laceration hazard, according to a U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) table saw recall news report.

Consumers are reportedly being asked to contact Ryobi to receive a free inspection of the recalled Ryobi RTS20 Portable Table Saw, and if necessary a free repair or replacement.
