Baugher’s Apple Cider Recall Issued By Baugher Enterprise Over Risk Of E-Coli Contamination

Baugher Enterprise Recalls Baugher’s Apple Cider Over Alleged Risk Of Escherichia coli (“E. Coli”) Bacteria Contamination.

A Baugher’s Apple Cider food recall has been issued by Baugher Enterprise, Inc. (“Baugher Enterprise” or “Baugher”) recalling all production of Baugher’s Apple Cider reportedly because it may be contaminated with Escherichia coli O157:H7 bacteria (“E. Coli O157:H7”), which could cause a diarrheal illness with bloody stools, and in rare cases, could lead to a form of kidney failure called Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (HUS), which could lead to serious kidney damage or death, according to a Food & Drug Administration FDA food contamination recall news report.

The recalled Baugher’s Apple Cider was reportedly sold in Maryland and the Gettysburg area of Pennsylvania through retail stores. Customers who purchased the recalled Baugher’s Apple Cider can reportedly contact the place of purchase with their receipt to obtain a full refund.
