Big Ideas Marketing Recalls 8,000 Horse-on-a-Stick Toys Over Potential Strangulation Hazard In Young Children.

A childen’s toy recall has been issued by Big Ideas Marketing (“Big Ideas Marketing”) recalling 8,000 Horse-on-a-Stick Toys with a bridle and reins (that makes neighing and galloping sounds when the ears are pressed) sold at Love’s Travel Stop and Country stores nationwide from May 2010 through July 2010 for about $6, reportedly because the reins the on horse-on-a-stick toy’s bridle are long enough to form a loop around a child’s head and neck, posing a strangulation hazard to young children, according to a U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) children’s toy recall news report.

Consumers are reportedly being asked to immediately remove or cut the reins to eliminate the hazard or to contact Big Ideas Marketing for instructions on how to remove the reins on the recalled horse on a stick toy.
