Dollar Tree Recalls 682,000 Pumpkin, Ghost & Skull Halloween Lanterns Over Light Bulb Overheating, Fire & Burn Risk.

A recall has been issued by Dollar Tree Stores Inc. (“Dollar Tree Stores”) recalling 682,000 plastic Pumpkin, Ghost and Skull Halloween Lanterns (model  number 954437-13096-003-1005) sold at Dollar Tree, Dollar Bill$, Occasions, Deal$ and Dollar Tree Deal$ stores nationwide from August 2010 to October 2010 for about $1 reportedly because the light bulb in the battery-operated lanterns can overheat, posing fire and burn hazards to consumers, according to a U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) children’s toy recall news report.

Consumers can reportedly return the recalled Dollar Tree Pumpkin, Ghost and Skull Halloween lanterns to the store where purchased for a full refund.
