Moon Fishery (India) Pvt. Ltd. Recalls Its "Tuna Strips" Product Of India "AA" Or "AAA" Grade Because Of Possible Health Risk

A Food Safety Recall Alert Has Been Issued:

Moon Fishery (India) Pvt. Ltd., the Manufacturer of the Yellow Fin Tuna Nakaochi Scrape that was
recently recalled by a U.S. Distributor, is also recalling its 22 pound cases of “Tuna Strips” Product
of India AA or AAA GRADE because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella,
an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or
elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with
Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain.
