A recall has been issued by Electrolux Home Products Inc. of Charlotte, N.C. (“Electrolux Home Products” or “Electrolux”) recalling 122,000 Frigidaire and Electrolux ICON Smoothtop Electric Cooktops and Frigidaire Slide-in Ranges with rotary knobs and digital displays reportedly because liquids can pool under the control knob, causing the heating element to turn on unexpectedly and potentially causing fire or burn hazards, according to a U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) cooktop and oven range recall news report.
