Kitchentrend Stainless Steel Carafe Recall Issued By J&H International Over Potential Burn Hazard

J & H International Recalls 36,000 Kitchentrend Stainless Steel Carafes Over Potential Burning Hazard.

A Stainless Steel Carafe recall has been issued by J & H International (“J & H International”) recalling 36,000 Kitchentrend Stainless Steel Carafes lined with glass with chrome-plated plastic tops and black plastic bases sold at Macy’s & Macys.com from September 2010 through October 2010 for about $20, reportedly because the handle on the recalled Kitchentrend Stainless Steel Carafe can come loose from the body of the carafe and cause liquid to spill, posing a burn hazard to consumers, according to a U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC)  recall news report.

The Kitchentrend Stainless Steel Carafe recall reportedly includes Kitchentrend 1-liter stainless steel carafes with model number P0930-X02.

Consumers are reportedly being asked to stop using the recalled Kitchentrend Stainless Steel Carafe and to return it to the store where it was purchased for a full refund.
