Rocking Horse Depot Recalls 1,200 Rocking Horses With Bridles & Reins Over Potential Strangulation Hazard In Young Children.
A childen’s toy recall has been issued by Rocking Horse Depot (“Rocking Horse Depot”) recalling 1,200 small, medium and large rocking horses with bridles sold at RockingHorseDepot.com from November 2006 through December 2009 for between $105 and $185 reportedly because reins on the rocking horse bridle are long enough to form a loop around a child’s head and neck, posing a strangulation hazard to young children, according to a U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) children’s toy recall news report.
Consumers are reportedly being asked to immediately remove or cut the reins to eliminate the hazard or to contact Rocking Horse Depot for instructions on how to remove the reins on the recalled rocking horses.
