Target Threshold Candles Recall: Target Has Recalled Certain Threshold Candles

On August 10, 2023 it was announced that Target Corporation (“Target”) issued a recall of approximately 2.2 million Threshold Glass Jar Candles (Recall No. 23-255). According to the CPSC, the recalled candle’s jar can crack or break during use, posing laceration and burn hazards.

Recalled Target Threshold Candle Injury/Incidents

According to the Target candle recall notice, Target received 19 reports of the candle jar breaking or cracking during use, resulting in one minor injury.

Remedy For Consumers of Recalled Target Candles

The Target recall notice stated that consumers should immediately stop using the recalled candles and return them to any Target store for a full refund, or contact Target to receive a prepaid return label to return the candles by mail.
